Organization chart description: The Deputy Managing Directors, Chief Secretary, and Chief Engineer are under the Managing Director to assist the Managing Director with the administration affairs. There are also Transportation Department, Civil Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, Electrical Engineering Department, Planning Department, Procurement and Storage Department, Administration Department, Secretariat, Personnel Office, Accounting and Statistics Department, Anti-Corruption Office, Labor Safety & Health Office, and Employees Training Center organization units, and Property Management Department, Legal Affairs Task Force, Civil Defense Corps, Accident Prevention Committee, and Ad hoc Engineering Department mission units established in the Taiwan Railway Administration. There is also the Freight Service Department and the Catering Service Department under the direct control of TRA departments established outside the Taiwan Railway Administration.
